Who knew? Not me!
My stay was a surprise! I loved the proximity to the airport and the on-site restaurant options. The pool was a delightful touch, though a bit chilly. The room offered decent comfort, even if it could use some upgrades. Perfect for a budget traveler needing a quick stop before flying out!

Close to the airport with nice cold AC. Cleanliness and service could improve.

The staff were somewhat helpful.
The room was infested with roaches, making my stay unbearable. I dealt with a malfunctioning air conditioner for hours, and the noise from neighboring rooms was incessant. When I finally requested checkout and a refund, they denied my request without any explanation.

The room was clean but the air conditioning was either on or off, making it uncomfortable at times. The staff was friendly and the location was steps from the beach, which we loved.

Good Value for Budget Travelers
I appreciated the friendly staff who provided great local dining recommendations. The walk to the beach was quick and enjoyable. Be sure to bring your own toiletries as bathroom storage is limited, and the shower took a bit to warm up. Overall, a solid option for travelers on a budget.

Decent spot but needs work!
The room was pretty rough, felt more like a dungeon with all the water damage. Bathroom was tiny and damp. On a positive note, the restaurant was awesome and the food was top-notch. It’s just a short walk to the beach. Just wish the staff had been more friendly!

The location is a strong point, with plenty of nearby restaurants and easy access to the beach. However, the room cleanliness left much to be desired, with a musty smell and unsatisfactory towels. The service varied. while some staff were friendly, others seemed inexperienced, which added to the frustration during our stay.

Had an awesome trip with friends! We loved taking surfing lessons and renting Jet Skis on that stunning beach nearby. The staff was friendly, and the price was budget-friendly, making it perfect for our group. Great base for exploring the area and enjoying local spots!
The elevator was a bit shaky, which was concerning during our stay. It felt outdated, not what you’d expect from a newer hotel.

missingWrote a review on May 31friendly staffgreat locationold elevatorcramped bathroompoor maintenance
I checked into Coral By The Sea with some reservations due to recent reviews. Surprisingly, my room was clean and the bed felt comfortable. Staff members were friendly and attentive throughout my stay. The proximity to the beach made it an ideal spot for lazy afternoons by the sea. I appreciated the on-site restaurant, where I enjoyed some delicious meals at a discount as a hotel guest. The free parking was a huge plus, but the parking lot filled up quickly. Some aspects were disappointing. The elevator was very old and often unreliable, making it a hassle to get to my room. My bathroom was tiny and needed updating. the shower was cramped and not very inviting. I also noticed some noise from the nearby street, which could disturb a light sleeper. Hot water took some time to come out, so patience is necessary there. Overall, if you’re just looking for a place to crash close to the beach, it might work for you, but don’t expect luxury.

For cheap travelers, it's bearable
The best part was the location, really close to the airport, so convenient for us. Staff were friendly and tried to help, which made me feel a bit better about the bad situation.
It wasn’t inexpensive, but still tolerable.

Just a reliable pick for an overnight stay in Carolina with attractive and competitive value for money. The front desk staff were super nice and accommodating, making the check-in process smooth. Try to ask for a corner room for more space.
